These polishes were provided to me by Glam Polish for swatches and my honest review.

All photos in this post are taken under artificial light, using Talon Super Swatch & Peel base coat by Nail Hoot, (a clear peel-able vinyl base), and topped with Glisten & Glow HK Girl topcoat

So as not to repeat myself, all swatches are 2 coats + topcoat and the formulas are excellent! I’m consistently impressed that Glam Polish packs so much glitter/shimmer/etc. much into each shade, yet keeps the formula super easy to work with. My only tip is to not overload your brush. You might be tempted to, seeing all the glitter and shimmer, but trust me, you don’t need it. You’ll run the risk of polish running down the brush. Two normal coats is all it takes!

I Myself Am Strange And Unusual

Deep Blue base with red/violet/gold/green multichrome shimmer, holo flakes, ultra holo glitter and fine holo microglitter.

This one reminds of the night sky, if it was filled with glowing purple shimmer. Wouldn't that be great? The base is dark and inky and the shimmer and shift really stand out.

I’m The Ghost With The Most Babe.

Dark Purple base with red/violet/gold/green multichrome shimmer, holo flakes, ultra holo glitter and fine holo microglitter.

Love this one! It’s super sexy and vampy, perfect for a night out and for fall in general. If you’re not paying attention, this one can have some brushstrokes, but only if you’re in a hurry.

Go Ahead… Make My Millennium!

Black base with red/violet/gold/green multichrome shimmer, holo flakes, ultra holo glitter and fine holo microglitter.

This wore and photographed as the darkest shade of the bunch. It has a super strong shift. There isn’t much to say about these because the descriptions and photos really say it all! Dark, vampy, shifty, sparkly, sexy. That about sums it up.

Daylight Come And Me Wan’ Go Home.

Plum base with red/violet/gold/green multichrome shimmer, holo flakes, ultra holo glitter and fine holo microglitter.

This shade has a gorgeous velvet look to it and I think it would be perfect for a holiday party. This shifts the least out of the collection, but the base color is one of the brightest.

It’s Showtime

Dark Teal base with red/violet/gold/green multichrome shimmer, holo flakes, ultra holo glitter and fine holo microglitter.

WOW. My favorite of the collection, this beauty is oh so shifty! Confusingly shifty. While looking back through my photos, I had to double check to make sure these were truly all of this shade. So, so unique. I forgot to take my usual top down photo with the bottle (sorry! I was too mesmerized) but I did snap one in my lightbox that shows a lot of shift all at once. I'm also sharing two macros of this just to show how very different it can look depending on lighting. It has a very glossy, almost jelly-like finish.

Never Trust The Living

Green base with red/violet/gold/green multichrome shimmer, holo flakes, ultra holo glitter and fine holo microglitter.

This is one of the most unique polishes I’ve seen in a long time. The base color, the glowing red/violet shimmer in most lighting, and the shockingly bright green shift. If you’re into green and/or weird polishes, this is a definite must-have! I wouldn't necesarily wear this often, but I love looking at it.

Bonus Comparison

When I unwrapped these, I admit that I thought a few of them all looked the same. Once you swatch or get them in different lighting, you quickly see the differences, but I decided to compare on the nail just for fun.

From pointer to pinky:

  • I Myself am Strange and Unusual
  • I’m The Ghost With The Most Babe.
  • Go Ahead… Make My Millennium!
  • Daylight Come And Me Wan’ Go Home.
