Ever After Polish Trick or Treat Halloween 2016 Duo

Ever After Polish Trick or Treat Halloween 2016 Duo

Today I have an adorable Halloween duo from Ever After Polish to share with you. The Trick or Treat duo releases tonight, 10/5/16, at 7pm EDT. This set is limited edition with only 50 available, so set those alarms!

Full disclosure: These polishes were provided to me by Ever After for my honest review.

Jack-o-Lantern Halloween Nail Art

Feel free to skip ahead if you're just here for swatches and shop info! It's all down below.

For my jack-o-lantern accent nail, I applied two coats of "Pumpkin Fluff" from the Ever After duo, then quick dry topcoat. I painted the face with a super skinny nail art brush from Born Pretty Store (specifically the smallest, red brush from this set), using Bliss Polish "Asphalt" from their Basix line. Such a great, full coverage grey creme! I let it dry for a few minutes then finished off the design with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Topcoat, my go-to for all manis.

Boo!

First up is the “trick” part of the duo, “Boo!”. This is a beautiful black linear holo with strong orange/copper shimmer. This is gorgeous! On the nail, it reads as more of a warm charcoal to me, rather than black, but that’s because it’s packed with holo and shimmer. My swatches show two coats and shiny topcoat, all under artificial light. Formula was great! Not too thick or too thin, very easy to work with and full coverage in two easy coats.

Pumpkin Fluff

Next up is the “treat” half of the duo, “Pumpkin Fluff”. I’ve recently become a big fan of orange polishes, and I feel like if you’re on the fence about orange, this is the perfect gateway shade! Pumpkin Fluff is a creamsicle orange creme with a strong pink shimmer and fine scattered holo. The pink shimmer makes this shade so unique! It’s a really soft and wearable shade of pinky orange that will also look great in spring or summer. Again, my swatches show two coats and shiny topcoat, all under artificial light. Formula was on the thicker side, but still easy to manage and I got full coverage in two slightly thicker coats. Three thin coats might work well too, depending on application.

You can grab your Trick or Treat duo tonight, 10/5/16 at 7:00 pm EDT on the Ever After website for $20 USD.

While you’re there, check out some of my other favorite Ever After products. I’ve tried many of their polishes and body products and have listed a few of my personal favorites below!

  • Princess Christmas Cake – a soft pink holo polish with platinum silver flakes
  • Cuticle Oil – I specifically love their droppers. Just $1.50, lots of scents, and super moisturizing!
  • Cuticle Crelly 2.0 – use it to moisturize just your cuticles, or as an overall hand lotion. Love the formula.
